Editor’s Note 018

What up Hip Hop, back again with Issue 18 the Producer’s Issue. With football season and the NBA getting ready to start it’s getting harder and harder to write and watch these games at the same time. Then I go to my 9-5 job and I realize that’s all the inspiration I need.

Now when you think of Producer’s I know we think of all the great producer’s and beat makers behind the boards but come on we’re Scheme we think a little differently. No you won’t see Just Blaze, Kanye West, Pharrell, ?uestlove or Cool & Dre but you will see Shafiq(Sa-Ra), K Murodck(Panacea), Nicolay, 9th Wonder & Pete Rock together, DJ House Shoes, Muhsinah and many more artists that you need to know about but don’t because the status quo believes you readers won’t care to read about these innovative musicians. The reality is I have faith in you, I know you care but if Mass Media doesn’t give it to you who will? Duh! Us of course.

Enjoy this issue which will feature different producer’s of different capacities each week throughout the month. Beyond the cats behind the boards we will also feature cats behind the drawing board like LeSean Thomas and cats behind the camera like Brian “Kyle” Atkins. So once again open your mind and your ear we have plenty here for you to read and listen too. We’re all Superstars-Click here for Lupe’s New Video) so do what you love and you’ll never work again.

Shout out to Lesean Thomas for the dope cover! Thanks Fam!!!
