WASHINGTON, DC – World renowned skateboarder Stevie Williams and his famed DGK (Dirty Ghetto Kids) pro team will ascend on D.C.’s Palace 5ive shop on Saturday, July 14, 2007, to unleash the rare essence of Stevie Williams & the lifestyle brand. This anticipated one-off will feature a host of exhibits and activities for area youth featuring Williams & his DGK family of skaters and apparel.

Live graffiti art and exhibits
Live disc jockey
Skateboard trick contest with a cash prize
Red Bull Energy Drink Bar
Red Bull Skating Ramp

Catering to the growing skateboard population in the metropolitan area, this tour will bring the underground sport to the forefront. Each of the events serve not only to pay tribute to an unconventional rising star, but also to give notice to the influences that the hip hop and skating worlds have on popular culture, and the successful fusion of the two, as created under the DGK label. The day will conclude with an adult-only networking mixer at Palace 5ive and the official after party at Mezza Luna.
